KAMAZ AT THE MADE IN RUSSIA FORUM 2022
21 October 2022
General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and top managers of the company are taking part in the international export forum Made in Russia which is taking place in Moscow on these days.
In his speech at the plenary session “The Economy of Change. Creating a New Geography of Exports” held on Thursday, October 20, KAMAZ General Director refuted the assumption that Russia can be completely “cut off” from international markets. The reason is simple – the demand for Russian products in foreign markets.
“Today, despite the sanctions pressure, many consumers of KAMAZ products abroad continue to place orders. The popularity is due to the brand awareness, the optimal price-quality ratio, the availability of spare parts, the reliability of KAMAZ vehicles and high maintainability,” Sergey Kogogin explained. He also listed the key export markets of KAMAZ and cited a number of figures indicating the dynamics of indicators over the past few years and the sustainable development of supplies of KAMAZ vehicles for export.
In addition, Sergey Kogogin stressed that favorable conditions have been created for Russian enterprises for export activities. In recent years, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Russian Export Center have developed and adopted unprecedented measures to support high-tech exports. Taking into account the new realities, they were adjusted and became more comfortable for exporters to use. KAMAZ intends to continue working in the export direction – the company will continue to produce vehicles that are in demand by foreign customers and increase the share of export deliveries.
Also among the forum participants were Mikhail Matasov, Deputy General Director of KAMAZ PTC for interaction with state authorities, and Ramil Arifulin, Director of the Representative Office of KAMAZ Foreign Trade Company JSC in Moscow.
